The Severity Manager allows emails to be sent when certain alerts have been posted on BusPlanner Web. Only certain people are emailed depending on the user’s severity clearance and on the message’s severity level. A default list of severity levels will be loaded with BusPlanner Web, but users can customize this list as needed.
•Severity – A description of the degree of seriousness of the problem which generated the alert. An “Information” alert is one about which people need to be aware but about which they need not be overly concerned. An “Urgent” alert is a more serious issue and thus can be sent to more senior personnel. •Number of New Records – The number of new severity levels which can be added at the same time when the Add button is selected. |
